About The Austin Triathlon
The Austin Triathlon is a premier triathlon event held in downtown Austin. Imagine a world class triathlon held in Austin's front yard, but with the atmosphere and intimacy of a small hometown race.
If you have done a Jack & Adam's event in the past, (The Rookie, Couples Triathlon, or Jack's Generic), then this is an event you definitely don't want to miss. Event features include:
- A $5000 prize purse that pros and age groupers are eligible to win
- Live music on the bike and run course, and at the finish line
- Free post race massage and ART
- Free post race food, drinks, beer, and ice cream
- Tech T-shirts and hats, plus tons of other goodies in the packet.

About the Course
The Austin Triathlon course all takes place in downtown Austin. The swim is scenic town lake right next to Auditorium Shores and has great spectating opportunities from the 1st Street Bridge. The bike is loop course featuring historic and eclectic congress avenue. The run is circuit run with 4 spectating opportunities per loop.

Live Music! Leading the party at The Austin Triathlon party will be some great live local bands. Headlining the show is the Austin's own U2 tribute band Mysterious Ways. Out on the course will be Opposite Day and Town Lake Trail's Woode Wood.
